The Structural designer will work closely with the structural engineers and provide the necessary design support needed. The incumbent will report progress on a weekly basis, assisting the engineers in developing and overseeing the BIM modeling and Structural plans. 

Standard Design Services 

We  will  create  new  structural   model  based on  the  architectural drawings. We will use our project standards, layouts,  and Revit  families, such  as  Structural  elements,  reinforcing, detailing and project structure. Our experienced structural  designer  will  create  the  following layouts.

  • Cover Sheet

  • Demolition Plan (if required)

  • Foundation plan layout

  • Floor framing plan layout 

  • Roof framing plan layout

  • Sections layout 

  • Typical details Layout (client specific)

  • Column schedule layout

  • Structural notes layout (client specific)

Custom Design Services

We  will  create  the  structural  model  from the latest architectural drawings, by  using external reference. The structural model will be linked to the architectural, MEP, and civil model, allowing potential updates to be shown automatically in the structural layout.

 

We will  create  drawings  layout style showing annotations style, structural elements similar to your company standards. The Structural Plans, Sections and Details will be created and updated based on your remarks. Our team of designers will create layouts listed. (see option I)

 

 

Additional Design Services

Our Custom Service is geared towards your drafting  needs, your company  standards and requirements. Example: you may have already established a standardized design system, title block, fonts and document presentation style and  methodology. Simply provide  BGC with your standards and we will create a project file suited for your company needs. Project file will include the following:

  • Cover Sheet with drawing list

  • Sheet list organized by Discipline

  • Sheet numbering system and title
